AngelConf – Bootcamp For Would-Be Investors

By Anna Johnson on February 14th, 2009

Want to be an angel investor and invest in the next big thing? Or want to dip your feet in investing towards a career as a venture capitalist? Then Y Combinator’s free AngelConf conference may be just the thing to get you started.

Y Combinator – an early stage venture capital firm or ‘incubator’ – is hosting AngelConf at its offices in Mountain View, California on March 5, 2009.

The event is free but you need to request an invitation from Y Combinator’s AngelConf homepage. Y Combinator has assembled a panel of highly experienced investors and entrepreneurs for the event, including TechCrunch’s founder and CEO Michael Arrington.

If I was in the U.S. I would be there in a flash.
