84 Percent of Consumers Use Online Customer Reviews

A survey from Opinion Research Corporation shows that a massive 84 percent of shoppers are influenced by online consumer reviews when purchasing products or services.

About 50 percent of shoppers consider online customer reviews early on in the decision-making process.

Interestingly, only 28 percent of consumers actually post reviews. (Which is actually a high level of involvement compared to the percentage of blog readers who post comments and forum participants who post threads or replies, etc).
