Facebook Starts Suing People
By Anna Johnson on July 21st, 2008It’s no more Mr Nice Guy over at Facebook. As the lawsuit brought against German social network StudiVZ indicates, Facebook will no longer stand by while others appear to copy the social media site.
Facebook’s suit against StudiVZ, which evidently has 10 million active members and is the largest social network in German-speaking countries including Germany, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland, alleges that it has infringed Facebook’s copyright by copying Facebook’s “look, feel, features and services”.
