1 in 4 Affiliate Marketers Started In Last Year or So

According to AffStat’s survey of 1,150 affiliate marketers, affiliate marketers are a mix of both those with quite a few years of experience and those who are relatively new to the game.
Here’s AffStat’s breakdown of how many years affiliate marketers have been involved in affiliate marketing:
- Began affiliate marketing in 2010: 9.6 percent of affiliates
- Began affiliate marketing in 2009: 16.7 percent
- Began affiliate marketing in 2008: 8.8 percent
- Began affiliate marketing in 2007: 9.6 percent
- Began affiliate marketing in 2006: 8.8 percent
- Began affiliate marketing in 2005: 11.4 percent
- Began affiliate marketing 2000 to 2005: 22.9 percent
- Began affiliate marketing before 2000: 12.2 percent
