We screen our clients – we do not work with just anyone.

Our time is limited so we only focus on the most important aspects of generating and converting website traffic.
It’s been said that 85% of all online purchases originate from the search engines, so getting your search engine marketing (pay-per-click advertising and search engine optimization) right is the most important aspect of generating web site traffic. In relation to conversion, we practically cover all the bases. There isn’t much more to converting traffic than optimizing your website, website copy and email marketing.

8. Why do you need to analyse my business – can’t you just skip this and start helping me with my website traffic generation and conversion?
We recommend against skipping this step. It’s essential that we understand your target market, positioning, unique selling proposition, products and services and overall business in order to provide you with the best possible service. Marketing is the process of generating, converting and satisfying customers. In order to generate and convert customers (our focus) we need to persuade your prospects that you have the solution they’re seeking. How can we be persuasive if we don’t understand them, understand you, or understand your products or services?
Now, that doesn’t mean we have to spend a lot of time analysing your business. If you already have a good grasp of your target market and business, it may simply be a matter of you answering some questions or sending us a copy of your marketing plan.

We’re Internet marketers, not webmasters. While we’ll certainly manage the Internet marketing aspects of your website on an ongoing basis (including dealing with any relevant technical issues that arise), we won’t be able to host or maintain your website.

How We Work
15. What’s the process for getting started?
Unless you apply for an Internet Marketing Analysis, the first step is a free, no obligation consultation. We’ll discuss your business and goals, and get to know each other a little. If we think we can do business together, we’ll tell you the Internet marketing services we recommend, and give you a quote. We may or may not be able to give you a quote during this consultation, but regardless, we’ll prepare a formal written quote, including a description of what we’ll do for you, the results we intend to achieve (backed up by our guarantee), and our proposed time frame. If you accept our quote we’ll get to work!

16. I’d like to meet you face-to-face – can you come over, or can I come to you?
If it’s feasible we’d be happy to meet with you in person. Alternatively, we can speak with you via the phone or the Internet. Of course, we may be continents apart so meeting in person just won’t be cost-effective for either of us.
We are also considering running client bootcamps where we can assemble all our clients once or twice a year and take the time to meet in person, talk business, share advanced Internet marketing strategies and tactics, and have a little fun!

17. We’re in different time zones – how will you deliver all your services to me and how will we be able to communicate?
Since our services are Internet based, we’ll be able to deliver them to you over the Internet, wherever you’re located. In terms of communicating – we can use email, Internet chat, telephone, teleconferencing or video conferencing as required. Yes, there may be times when we need to talk and it’s 2 pm where you are, and 3 am here. But we’re prepared to to speak with you at odd hours (for us) if necessary.

18. Who will do the work?
Either Anna or Simon Johnson will be your main contact. They will oversee the delivery of the Internet marketing services we perform for you. In all cases, Anna and Simon will personally review, assess, modify if necessary, and give the “green light” to any material produced by our team.

19. How long will it take for you to perform your services for me?
This depends on what we’re doing for you. It might take us a few hours to turn something around for you – for example, some simple copy – or it might take several weeks if we have to wait for search engines to display your website in their search results. However, before we commence any project we’ll agree a suitable timeframe with you and work on that basis.

About Our Fees
20. Is your quote fixed… or are there any hidden charges?
Once we give you a quote, that is all you’ll pay for our services. There won’t be any hidden charges. However, depending on the services we provide, you will also need to pay the costs of:

Your PPC campaign (i.e. to the search engine(s));

Any third party software program or service you need (e.g. shopping cart, email management software); and
-
Any travel that’s required (if you need to meet with us).

21. Your Internet marketing services seem a little expensive… How can you justify your fees?
I hope you don’t think we’re too expensive – there are consultants who charge much, much higher fees (see below). On the other hand, I can understand that engaging us costs more than you doing all this yourself… or engaging another consultant who charges less.
But let us put our fees in perspective… and compare the real cost of engaging us to doing it yourself, or engaging someone else.
First of all: we guarantee our results. When we discuss your goals and agree on a plan for achieving outstanding results, we’ll achieve those results or we’ll work for free until we achieve them. So you can’t lose. If we do what we say we’ll do, you’ll have the results you want. If we fail to deliver, we’ll keep on working for free until we do.
Secondly, look again at what we do for you. Will you go to the same effort for yourself? Or will some other consultant (who charges much less), go to the same effort and guarantee their results?
